Greetings to all artists on the ground! In ever-changing times in an ever-changing world, it only makes sense that the way we report what is going on in the world is ever-changing as well. Now is your chance to contribute to this movement with this challenge’s theme: current events circa the last 5 years (2012-now).
While certain figures have dominated and continues to dominate the political atmosphere, we also encourage you to branch out to other non-American events as well. In a low-poly scene style, (no more than 5k triangles), create a factual scene and/or model of an event that has happened on a big enough scale to be reported by mainstream media in the last 5 years. While a little political bias in inherently human, please do not be on purposely offensive in your narrative.
This challenge is a great opportunity to push the limited limitations of the low poly style and see what kind of stories you can tell! All experience levels and low-poly stylistic choices welcome. All that’s required is for this challenge is to submit the final product before April 17th and you tag your art as #currentevents to enter.

- Please title it accurately and if there is a chance for it to not be immediately recognized, a sentence or two in the description is highly recommended
