It’s an additional step for Sketchfab to make 3D and VR accessible to everyone, everywhere. Tumblr is a major addition to our network of publishing partners, next to Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, Unity, Steam and many more.
The 3D/VR illustrations of your Tumblr posts now render natively in the Tumblr dashboard on desktop:
On mobile Tumblr automatically displays Sketchfab thumbnails with a Sketchfab play button that will incentivize your followers to click and explore your content in 3D:
To use this feature you can share your favorite Sketchfab models to Tumblr directly from our web interface, or copy/paste a Sketchfab link in the video section on Tumblr:
